LITTLE FARMERS SERIES: AGE 3-5

Mondays, April 7th, 14th, and 21st, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Join us for a fun, three-week series where children can interact with various animals creating memorable experiences
while learning about the farm!
 Don’t forget to bring your camera—there will be plenty of adorable moments to capture!

GOODNIGHT FARM: 

AGES 6-10

Friday, April 11th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Our Goodnight Farm class is an “end of day experience” that is distinctively unique! We’ll turn the lights off as we finish caring for the animals and use flashlights to light the way. Explore what it’s like when the animals settle down for the night… shhhhh!

RAISED BED GARDENING CLASS

Saturday, April 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This class offers a comprehensive guide to designing, building, and planting raised beds. Your in-class handiwork will be used to grow food for the local community through the Timberview Scholars program.

EASTER FLORAL DESIGN CLASS

Wednesday, April 16th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Create a beautiful spring arrangement in a charming Easter basket. Design with pink, yellow, orange and green blooms using professional foam techniques. All flowers, greenery, and basket included.

EASTER CELEBRATION

Saturday, April 19th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Celebrate this special holiday among friends and family on the Farm! Join us for Easter egg hunts, newborn farm animals, photo opportunities, and an abundance of special memories.

Join us for a hands-on class where children can feed, cuddle, and learn about baby farm animals like lambs, calves, and bunnies, creating unforgettable moments while sparking a love for animals. Adults must accompany your Little Farmer.
BACKYARD FOOD PRODUCTION

Tuesday, April 29th 

Learn food production techniques for backyard and urban gardens. Topics include garden preparation, regional plant selection, seasonal care, pest management, and harvesting methods. You’ll receive essential gardening knowledge along with a complimentary seed packet to start your own garden.
SEED STARTING AND TRANSPLANTS

Wednesday, April 30th 

Learn the best ways to start seeds successfully. Explore different growing methods, how to wake up stubborn seeds, and whether to use soil blocks or trays. We’ll also cover essential transplanting skills, including how to prepare young plants for outdoor conditions and ensure they thrive after moving.

MOTHER’S DAY SATURDAY

Saturday, May 10th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Fun activities planned with mom, photo opportunities, and a mother’s day picnic on the lawn!

MOTHER’S DAY FLORAL DESIGN CLASS

Saturday, May 10th

Practice hands-on techniques using roses, baby’s breath, carnations, and assorted greenery in a pageant bouquet style. All materials included: fresh flowers, greenery, wrapping paper, ribbon, and note cards.

CUT FLOWER GARDEN PLANNING CLASS

Saturday, May 15th

Discover how to grow your own beautiful cut flowers at Timberview! This class covers which flowers grow best in our local climate, simple care tips, and the basics of harvesting and storing your blooms. You’ll leave with a helpful guide to reference as you start your cutting garden journey.

AQUAPONICS 101 + SYSTEM BUILD CLASS

Saturday, May 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Learn the basics of aquaponics in this hands-on class! Morning session covers essential theory, and the afternoon will be a practical workshop where you’ll build a complete system from scratch. Take home a comprehensive color manual with step-by-step instructions for creating your own backyard.
