Volunteer at Timberview
As a small nonprofit educational farm, Timberview is always grateful for extra hands. Whether you are an adult looking to serve, a group hoping to volunteer together, a child interested in the Timbercrew program, or a family joining one of our volunteer days, we would love to work alongside you.
Adult Volunteers
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to serve without a parent or guardian present. To get started, complete a volunteer request form and contact Laine at lainew@timberviewfarmstead.com to schedule your volunteer experience.
Children’s Volunteer Program
Children must first complete a week of Farm Camp or Farm Camp Jr. during the summer to receive animal care training and become Farm Camp Certified. Once certified, they are eligible to join Timbercrew, Timberview’s children’s volunteer program.
Timbercrew students can sign up in advance through a private Timbercrew link to reserve volunteer time slots. If your child is interested in volunteering, please contact Summer at summer@timberviewfarmstead.com.
Group Volunteers
We are grateful for organized groups that choose to complete their service hours at Timberview. We welcome school groups, church groups, fraternities and sororities, workplace teams, and more.
If your group is interested in serving at the farm, please email Laine at lainew@timberviewfarmstead.com.
Volunteer Days
We host three designated volunteer days each year: one in the spring, one in the fall, and one in early winter. These events are designed for families with members of varying ages, small groups, and individuals, and they focus on seasonal needs around the farm.
